 a truly unforgettable Book Launch event

 

The Wildwoods, NJ – July 6, 2009 – The media is invited to attend as Morey’s Piers celebrates four decades of excitement and family fun during a special Book Launch Party for their new 40^th Anniversary book, “A Wild Ride.” Morey’s will also celebrate the grand opening of The Morey Store.

 

“A Wild Ride” documents the ironic and iconic history of Morey’s Piers and celebrates each phase of its rise in becoming one of the best seaside amusement parks in the world. The book was authored by

 

 

 Jack Wright, of Exit Zero Publishing. He describes it as “a thrilling story of high risks, big ideas, large monsters and a HUGE amount of fun!”

 

The Morey Store features the latest apparel for adults and kids – with tops, shorts, accessories, outerwear and hats all featuring the Morey trademark name.

 

Festivities will begin promptly at 4 p.m. at the Tea Cup amusement ride, located on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing Pier at

Schellenger Avenue

. Entertainment and food will be served, followed by words from Jack and Will Morey. The Morey Family has partnered with the Wildwoods Boardwalk Special Improvement District to present A HIGHLY UNUSUAL Book Launch to highlight the brief afternoon ceremony.

 

WHEN: Thursday, July 16 at 4 p.m. – rain or shine.

 

WHERE: The Tea Cups amusement ride on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing Pier at

Schellenger Avenue

and the Boardwalk in Wildwood (Located in the center of the Pier).

 

WHO: Jack, Will and the Morey family, along with their dedicated team, officials, ride designers, Morey’s season-pass holders and everyone who has helped Morey’s become one of the best seaside amusement parks in the world.
