Beaches from coast to coast, theme parks filled with hang-on-for-your-life roller coasters, restaurants with the most delicious foods, malls with the hottest fashions and schools with the highest educators- if looking out your car window this is what you see…… you can only come to one conclusion; you’ve just entered New Jersey. New Jersey has been around since it was first discovered by the Dutch and Swedish explorers while some Native Americans began to settle here in 1609. This small yet largely populated state is great for many reasons including its large number of beaches, resorts, restaurants and theme parks.

Elizabeth, Freehold, Clark, Colonia, Millstone, Hazlet, Cranbury, Woodbridge…oh my goodness New Jersey! New Jersey is the best state to be in and it’s also known as the Garden State. Now you may ask yourself, why is it known as the Garden State? Well, actually the fact that there are hardly any gardens around New Jersey is a subject that most people don’t think about. This given name to the state may be unknown, but aside from that, there are many trees, to be specific nature. What do I love about New Jersey? Well what isn’t there to love? There are many reasons why I love New Jersey. I love New Jersey because I was born here, it offers many opportunities, it’s loaded with history, and is full of interesting people.

As I stroll slowly on the paved path, the trees in uneven lines next to me and their age old branches cast shadows on the ground. I look up and see the sun streaming through leaves in the sky. A soft wind blows upon my face.
Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, New Jersey is the pride and joy of my town. I know other people might mention generalizations in New Jersey such as the weather and the beaches but the park is my source of happiness. I've grown up my whole life in a relaxed and congenial environment that New Jersey provides for me. The atmosphere of the park in any weather is enough to make me contemplate why anyone in the world would want to live anywhere but here.

From the swift, breezy, blue oceans up to the beautifully wide verdant views of the Appalachian Mountains, and down toward the luscious smelling pine barrens of southern Jersey. No where else can you find such a diverse area to live in. There are so many opportunities and so much potential to come from this great state one could let his or her mind run wild on the pleasures to be had.
I’ve lived in New Jersey my entire life and feel such a close connection to such a wonderful place, I could never imagine living anywhere else. I live in a house towards the outer sections of Montville New Jersey. Most of the town is pretty developed with large magnificent houses but where I live it’s actually quite wooded and every summer morning I awake to the twitter of birds outside my window and the greenish tinge of sunlight passing through the leaves and into my room.

The state of New Jersey is the scene of much history in colonial America. Not only is it a historian state, it is also an attraction to many people. It was for sure an attraction to my family and me. There are many reasons why I adore the Garden State. To begin with, it owns the Statue of Liberty. New Jersey also contains many beaches that make up the east. In addition it is the home of the world’s largest light bulb. Finally, the Civil Rights Garden is located in New Jersey.

What do I love New Jersey? It is not the best state to live in. It may not be the safest, cleanest, or even the best looking state out there, but, it is my home, and I love it anyway. New Jersey is not perfect, but nevertheless, I love it anyway.
The first reason why I love New Jersey is it has a great educational system. New Jersey was ranked the fourth smartest state for the past two years. Also, Princeton University was ranked this year’s top college. With such an astounding educational program, the students of our state have a bright future ahead of them.
The next reason why I like New Jersey is its wonderful climate. Unlike many other states, New Jersey experiences all four seasons. Our climate allows for many different events, such as skiing and sledding in the winter, fishing in the spring, and going to the beach on those hot summer days.

“What comes to mind when you hear ‘New Jersey?’” Some people might say New Jersey is the suburbs of New York. Others might mention the fact that New Jersey is the home of several major shopping malls. While these are all positive points about New Jersey, the first thing that comes into my mind, is the state’s natural beauty and splendor. All you need to do is take a drive through New Jersey and you can see why I feel this way.

Have you ever experienced the seasons? The drops of snow on your face, or what about the smell of the morning dew in spring? Or even the burning sun peering into your bedroom window every morning or the crackle of leaves under your footsteps. Not many people in the United States can say they have. Some live with only summer. Some live with only winter, but in the amazing state of New Jersey, we have everything. From autumn to winter, from winter to spring, and from spring to summer, we have it all. Every cold, hot, breezy, and mild day you can think of, you can find it here in our lovely world of seasons. Sometimes you take advantage of something until you know it is gone and finally appreciate it. For me I would never want to move out of New Jersey because I know how to appreciate the lovely fall, winter, spring, and summer.
